Answer my goddamned poll. I've been toying with this idea for some time, but I don't want to spend my time writing shit that people aren't interested in.

There it is, I guess. I write for other people's enjoyment.

That's not entirely true; I write because I enjoy entertaining people, and I'm arrogant enough to believe that I occasionally do that.

Whatever. Not important.
There's plenty of options; if you don't want to read my shit, say so. If you do, say so. I just want to know if it will be well received. Or received at all, as it were.

While I'm asking you folks to do shit: watch Heroes, watch House. Torrent them from the beginnings, and watch them in your free time. If you're "too engrossed" with other series, hobbies, activities, marriages, fuck 'em. These shows are that good. So, watch 'em.

So, those folks that know me well enough to understand: I remade my altar. I had it the way it was since I converted, which has been... Shit. Six, seven years?
It's very exciting.

New Athena statue, she's gorgeous. It's only cast resin with gold paint, but it looks fantastic.
Maybe I'll upload a picture sometime. Without my "personal" stuff in the picture.

Oh! I also found (what I believe to be) a genuinely old-as-it-looks Celtic dirk. I found it in a dusty antique store, the sheath was completely disintegrated, there's some kind of lettering on it that I sure as hell can't read. A picture of what I think is a stag. Or a wolf.
The Celts weren't good at drawing animals.
And it sweats red/brown stuff if I don't keep it oiled.

I dunno. I ought to have it appraised, I think.

For anyone that knows me, this should be another big surprise:
I've been quitting smoking.
Yeah, I know. I've had a cigarette in every avatar I've made since I joined dA.
By "I've been quitting," I mean I've been trying, very hard, to quit. As it stands, I haven't had one in about two weeks. I transgressed on our trip to Georgia. I've been making a serious effort for months now, though, and I feel like that counts.

Hey: Good news. I've decided to throw a subscription at anyone who redesigns my CSS.

Length of subscription dependent upon awesomeness of design and coding, but I'll seriously throw at least a month at someone if I use it, no matter what it is.
And at this point, I'll use it.
